CC Global Summit

A government initiative in 2006 gave birth to NDLA - a really big investment in open educational resources. 10 years have passed and a substantial amount of money has gone into the further development of NDLA. Today we house 50 subjects and 100 000 learning resources averaging 60 000 daily user sessions, not counting our popular Youtube accounts. We have built production tools, modules, designs, interaction and structures and we have helped cofund third party companies (h5p.org) - all part of the open education movement. This means that you can start producing content rather than producing platforms and tools. This also means that we can co-operate and get better together.
Equally important is the experience and competence we have gathered through 10 years in terms of policies, guidelines, licensing policies… everything is documented and can be shared with you for adaption. No need to start from scratch!
