Can you live your life totally in the commons? David Bollier and others have claimed that we need to "think like a commoner" in order to revive commons-based approaches to living, but what does that mean in real life?

In my work life, I'm the communications manager at CC, but I also live in a self-governing intentional community where we "live lightly and share resources" as one of our guiding values.
What does the commons look like in 2018? How can we move toward more ethical modes of consumption, live our values, and revive the ancient wisdom of the commons?
