 This proposal summarizes the experiences the OER journey in Bangladesh.

Adopting open licenses (preferably, Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0) on the publicly funded education and research resources can create a positive shift in the access to educational resources. The following issues will be highlighted in my presentation:
  • Scope for creating and adopting OER (under CC Licenses) in secondary and higher education programs in a developing country like Bangladesh.
  • The role of open policies in promoting the open culture in Bangladesh.
