Empathetic Design for Code of Conduct Enforcement in Open Communities

Feedback form is now closed.
In the last year, we've seen a massive increase in the number of open projects adopting a 'Code of Conduct'.  What is also true, is that the majority of those have no clear process for enforcement  - and that we primarily regard Codes of Conduct as mechanisms for consequence and punishment rather than tools for Community Health - as is their potential.

This workshop combines Design Thinking, with templates and processes of Mozilla's Community Participation Guideline enforcement process to help participants design for diverse and empowering governance - with goals for learning along the way.
